Wonderful hoop earrings from the Fulani people of Nigeria. These are remarkable feats of jewelry making. One piece of metal is pounded repeatedly to make these shapes. The metal content is unknown but they look remarkably like silver. I believe these to be silver plated.

The ear wires are a bit thicker than average western ear wires as you can see by the photos but they ought to fit most standard piercings.
